* Actions speak louder than words. Words - 7%, Voice – 38%, Body language –55% Postures, Gestures, Expressions, Movements and voice are important during interview.
* The first five seconds (First Impression) and the last five seconds (last Impression) are crucial to impress the interviewers.
* A smile with enthusiasm is the best way to relieve the tension and break the ice.
Positive Body Language:-
* Good eye-contact and handshake with single hand.
* Leaning forward slightly in your chair.
* Tilting your head.
* Open-lipped smiling.
* Open hands with palms visible.
* Keeping your chin up.
* Eye-contact conveys confidence, trust and attention.
* Eye-contact establishes a rapport with the interviewer.
* Eye-contact shows interest.
* Mirroring is imitating someone else’s positive body language not negative body language. People like people like themselves. Never ever mirror the bad habits of others.
Negative Body Language:-
* Crossing your arms or legs.
* Looking down when speaking.
* Not making eye-contact.
* Pointing your finger when making a point.
* Looking at your interviewer from underneath your eyebrows.
