* Creative people are often self employed. This gives you scope to get creative and how to earn money as well as about what you produce creatively.

* An employed career is always limited in terms of what it will earn you. Use a bit of your creativity to be entrepreneurial too.

* Challenge yourself. Creative careers are never boring, they are careers in which you turn hobbies and passions into output or take the ordinary and make something extra-ordinary out of it. How can you challenge your own or other people's way of thinking?

* Use your creativity for innovation. Bill Gates is an example of a creative person who has used his creativity to innovate in business.

* By continually improving and inventing, he has led the competition for years and made a huge amount of money in the process.

* How can you use your creativity to build a career with a business advantage over your competitors?

* Be different. What is the point of being creative if you follow the crowd. Dare to stand out. Do the opposite of what other people do. Try new things. Take a conventional career and give it a twist. See what new creative career you can invent.
